A New start….Picking up writing again

 Hello reader!

Years ago a twelve year old dreamer started a blog…

She was full of words and dreams that she wanted to share, recipes, and her life on a farm with her four sisters, two brothers, cows, chickens, a dog, kittens, and other things that you would expect to see on a country farm! Well, years passed and over time she slowly quit writing. She quit journaling so often, didn’t share on the old blog, and became caught up with life. But then one day she realized how much she had missed that. She missed waxing poetic, sharing thoughts & ideals, and now she had new ideas too! She wanted to share her new more matured love of vintage! She wanted to share the books she loved, radio programs long forgotten, her new found interest in philosophy, a more deeply rooted love for all aspects of homemaking! So, she came back friends…

This time as a twenty year old, still full of hopes and dreams and deep thoughts about life, home, God, the Bible, sewing, and literature.

She decided to start fresh. This time with her actual name, a new blog, new style (but not all that different either), unwilling to change the old platform that she had poured so much into. It has sentimental value to me. I see all the young thoughts and budding dreams, eager to grow and trying to act and be mature. 

A lot has happened since then, some good, some not so good. But through it all I can see God’s hand, and I have grown so much. That girl then seems like another person, yet the same too.

I hope that you stay around, friend! 💕 I want to talk and chat together, like this is my parlor and I am having you stay for tea. Won’t you have a cup? And maybe a scone, or would you rather some shortbread?
